What To Expect

At SAWC #3 We intentionally cultivate environments for people to connect with God and others.

We would love to have you join us on a Sunday morning. We understand visiting a church can be intimidating. SAWC is a place where you are welcome just as you are. We want guests to feel as comfortable as possible, so here are answers to some questions you may have.

What are your Service Times?

At Schuyler we have two Sunday morning gathering times.  We gather together at 9:45am for our Sunday School options.  There are a variety of adult class options as well as age appropriate children’s classes and a youth program.  Following the Sunday School hour we gather together for corporate worship at 10:45am.

What is the Worship Service like?

At SAWC you will experience biblical preaching, heartfelt prayer, and blended music.  We sing some of the time-tested anthems of the faith as well as cutting edge worship music. We hope that through our worship experience you will be exposed to the message, your meaning, and our mission. We believe that through all of the elements of our service you will encounter the Gospel message, authentic means for personal application, and a call to serve others.

What should I wear?

If you come dressed in a t-shirt or  dressed to the hilt in a suit, you won’t be alone.  We want people to be authentic and dress in any way they feel comfortable to worship.  Our pastor usually preaches in blue jeans and a button-up.

What about my kids?

At SAWC #2 we radically invest in the next generation.  Your children and youth are not an afterthought. One of the ways we try and equip and empower the spiritual leaders of tomorrow is to have our kids worship with us in our service for the music, sacraments, prayer, and Scripture reading. If your kids are 1st-5th grade they will be dismissed before the message for a kid appropriate message and activity downstairs with our wonderful and enthusiastic Kid’s Team.  For children (infant-kindergarten) we are happy to provide programing for the entirety of the service.  See a Guest Team member for directions.

Where can I park?

We have parking spots available on both the East and West sides of the building.  Also, the surrounding streets allow curbside parking.

Guest Services.

From the moment you set foot on our property we want you to feel at home.  From parking lot attendants to a dedicated guest space just inside our front entrance, we want you to feel valued and loved.  Please stop by the Guest Desk in our lobby to receive and gift and connect to one of our Guest Team members.

Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, our desire is for you to experience the love God has for you and encourage you to take your next step towards the life He has for you. The people who call SAWC their church all have a unique story and journey of faith but we strive as a community to never underestimate God’s grace.  That means, no person to far gone for God to redeem and no person so bad they can’t be transformed into Christ’s image by the power of the Holy Spirit. No doubt you will find someone you have a lot in common with.
